ABOUT US
Our name, is from the West African word 'Sankofa' which means return and get it. We teach how to return to the past for strength and wisdom to build a better future.
First love God, then learn to love, accept, and respect self and one another.
Sankofa Way Spiritual Services facilitates spiritual growth and emotional healing. We provide counseling, program development, pastoral care / spiritual care, workshops & group training facilitation, religious ceremonies, and television programming.
What Do We Do?
- We reject self-hating behavior and engender respect for self and community.
- We stop the spread of chaos and name that which works to divide us
- We break down the constructed barrier of sexual orientation by creating collaborations between lesbians, heterosexuals, and gays.
- We empower black communities and address how misogyny and homophobia divide us.
